Not All Who Wander Are Lost

As we are going for the theme for the blog on the first entries, it would be a shame if I did not include the great J.R.R.Tolkien here. It is quite amazing that he created a world, created creatures that are legend and became a legend himself but although he has written countless lines for the trilogy and its background, he has summarized his work The Lord of the Rings with 8 lines:

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

I found this the other day and thought it was perfect for this post. It may be little too fan-girlly for some, but for those who adore the Middle Earth it could be quite sentimental. You can find it in different colors at myCurlyCue.com
