The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)

This Christmas will be an even more special one than the others. The Lord of the Rings fans are going wild because the 'prequel' The Hobbit is finally hitting the big screen. Judging by the trailers, this is going to be one goose bump inducing experience. As one of the people who was introduced (of course by my brother) to the Middle Earth with The Hobbit, I am extra excited. But I must admit I forgot about the details of the book as I read it when I was 11, almost 12 years ago. I am looking forward to change that in the following 6 days because only a week later, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is here for our consideration. I have been in this strange mood to watch the trilogy again for the last couple of weeks, I even started wearing my Evenstar pendant unaware of the actual release date. I guess my body is more aware of my Elvish side than my brain...

Long Time, No Me

Oookay.... Anybody left there?.. It's been a while no?... Anyway I'm back, it is Christmas time. It's not a secret it's my favorite time in the year. Keep your eyes here and prepare for the things to come.

I just want to add something here. This blog is my personal preference blog, that means I do not promote things here, I merely use this place as an outlet for the things I love and am passionate about. You won't see things that are very hip but boring here and NEVER Justin Bieber (I'm strongly anti-Bieber these days.)

Ok so I can't ignore that tomorrow is the Christmas Day. Probably not because of the reasons you are thinking....but maybe it is?.... Anyway stopping with the mind games, tomorrow is Doctor Who day!

It does look it's going to be awesome and it itself claims that it's the "Best. Christmas. Ever.", but it may be hard to top last year's Christmas Special, 'A Christmas Carol'. That was truly awesome... But again, Doctor who Christmas Speacials tend to be special.(pun fully intended.) Plus with this one, I'm pretty curious about the Narnia reference

 I do like the prequel though, so if any of you missed the prequel or the trailer, hurry up 'cause tomorrow is the big day.

Blue Christmas

Hi there everyone,

I feel like a very blue Christmas this year. All the exams and projects and homeworks and life sucked away my Christmas spirit. But I still have my tree, that is one thing I cannot compromise. (Well, actually two things. We have one tree at home with my brother and another tiny one at my dorm with my roommates.)

This Christmas Eve, at home, we ate Chinese food while watching Love Actually. I think we did good, no?

Hey,

Is there any Assassins among you? If you don't know what I'm talking about or if you know and do not play Assassin's Creed, why not?

Assassin's Creed: Revelations just came out last week and believe me when I say it; It. Is. Awesome! And I'm not just biased because the story is in Istanbul aka Constantinople! Well maybe a little :)

Looooooonggg Time

Oh I've got to share this with you. My brother has sorta become an avid reddit user, my inbox is nearly full of mails subjected as: From Reddit Pics: "....." - not that I'm complaining, those are like my saving bell when I don't even know I need them. Anyway he sent me this a while back. Since I'm filling with Doctor Who vibe with the new episodes, I though you might like it too. I don't want to smother you with reddit findings but I'll share stuff that cracks me up, keep tuned. Enjoy.

Hey everyone,

I'm having a bit of a writer's block. Oh the high drama of the suffering writers.. *cough* wannabe *cough*. And of course, a severe case of laziness. It's on its way to be clinically proven. Seriously. 

Now remember when I said I hadn't read A Game of Thrones? Yeah, that's not true anymore.

There is so much to say about it. 800 pages worth of words. 

But I'm going to let Mr. Martin say it for me, yet again.

"The devil is in the details, they say." He says at the very end of the book. That may be my favorite part of the book. No, not the quote, the details.
