Fringe - Only 5 Episodes Left

A lot has happened in Fringe from the the middle of the last season (Season 4), with 4 more episodes to go. Now why are they finishing at episode 13? Because they want to end the series at the 100th episode mark. Doesn't make much sense if you ask me because everything feels pretty rushed right now. For instance we didn't resolve any of the dilemma at the end of season 4. Why is Peter trapped in this universe, is this really his universe, how come Olivia remember things happened in another universe and most importantly what happened to the other universe?! Just because they closed the bridge, doesn't mean they solved any mysteries or anything.

The Hobbit Update: Production

This is a story of how  a Baggins had an adventure...

That is how The Hobbit begins... Well it's not literally the first thing
in the book but it's on the second page and I think this way it has a more dramatic way to start things.

The first thing I thought was some events are probably going to be highlighted more than they were in the book, such as the troll scene and definitely Rivendell parts. They barely make up a chapter in the book but judging by the trailers, we will see more of Elrond than the six pages mentioned in the book.

According to TheOneRing.Net, director Peter Jackson said "We expended out the universe a lot more so that we weren't just staying with Bilbo and the Dwarves on their journey, as the book pretty much does. We started to expand some of what's happening to Gandalf outside of that journey."

That is great news, 'cause I think we will see much more of Gandalf's and Radagast's interaction than the book mentions.

November's For Love, But Everything's Better in December

Tumblr_meru75fam41qex8cgo1_500_largeLike many, Christmas is my favorite time, I love everything to do with winter actually, maybe it's because I'm a snow-baby, my birthday is in January.

November may be sweet but December is all about Christmas and snow and lights and decorations! Here in Turkey the decorations come out closer to New Year's, I can't wait for all the malls come alive with Christmas lights.

This is Vakko's famous store in Istanbul, a very famous and prestigious Turkish brand. They are also known for their Christmas decorations. Some say there is also a machine they puffs out fake snow every now and then, but none of us really saw it happen, but the idea is still very cool.  Oh and for bigger effect, I should mentions this: It hasn't snowed in Istanbul, yet....

I don't have many posts for Christmas, decorations and settings this year but themed-songs and such don't change that much over the years, so I'm just going to refer you to my previous posts on the subject. Just search Christmas tagged posts or click here.

Post below was my opening of the season two years ago, thought it was appropriate for a repost.

New Girl : Simply Adorkable

I know I'm a little late to 'promote' the 'new' series New Girl, so I'm just gonna dive in and highlight my favorite parts, and even then this post will not be sufficient enough tribute for this show.

You know how sad we were when Friends ended and there were no other shows that could catch up to it? Well I think New Girl might be the thing.

Bye Bye Ponds...

It's really been a shock how Amy and Rory left the series, I always thought Doctor would leave them alone to let them have their own lives, but to have them actually die was a Moff-fucked move.

Rest have a bit of SPOILERs, so click Read More for more ;)

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)

This Christmas will be an even more special one than the others. The Lord of the Rings fans are going wild because the 'prequel' The Hobbit is finally hitting the big screen. Judging by the trailers, this is going to be one goose bump inducing experience. As one of the people who was introduced (of course by my brother) to the Middle Earth with The Hobbit, I am extra excited. But I must admit I forgot about the details of the book as I read it when I was 11, almost 12 years ago. I am looking forward to change that in the following 6 days because only a week later, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is here for our consideration. I have been in this strange mood to watch the trilogy again for the last couple of weeks, I even started wearing my Evenstar pendant unaware of the actual release date. I guess my body is more aware of my Elvish side than my brain...

Long Time, No Me

Oookay.... Anybody left there?.. It's been a while no?... Anyway I'm back, it is Christmas time. It's not a secret it's my favorite time in the year. Keep your eyes here and prepare for the things to come.

I just want to add something here. This blog is my personal preference blog, that means I do not promote things here, I merely use this place as an outlet for the things I love and am passionate about. You won't see things that are very hip but boring here and NEVER Justin Bieber (I'm strongly anti-Bieber these days.)

Anyway, tune in and see ya..

Merry Christmas Amy

Ok so I can't ignore that tomorrow is the Christmas Day. Probably not because of the reasons you are thinking....but maybe it is?.... Anyway stopping with the mind games, tomorrow is Doctor Who day!

It does look it's going to be awesome and it itself claims that it's the "Best. Christmas. Ever.", but it may be hard to top last year's Christmas Special, 'A Christmas Carol'. That was truly awesome... But again, Doctor who Christmas Speacials tend to be special.(pun fully intended.) Plus with this one, I'm pretty curious about the Narnia reference

I do like the prequel though, so if any of you missed the prequel or the trailer, hurry up 'cause tomorrow is the big day.
